  15. This is the Eye of Gnome, an image viewer program.  It is meant to be
  16. a fast and functional image viewer.

  19. Requirements

  22. This package requires the following modules to be installed:
  23. libgnomeui, libbonoboui, bonobo-activation, gconf, gnome-vfs,
  24. gdk-pixbuf, eel, libart, libgenomeprintui, libgnomecanvas and
  25. libglade.

  27. You can get these packages from your favourite GNOME FTP mirror or at
  28. http://ftp.gnome.org/GNOME/sources or from other sources where GNOME
  29. packages are distributed.

  32. Optional Libraries
  33. ------------------

  35. 'Eye of Gnome' supports the reading of exif information stored in
  36. images by digital cameras. To get this working, you need the optional
  37. libexif library. It is available at http://libexif.sourceforge.net.

  39. If you also want to preserve your EXIF data on save make sure you have
  40. libjpeg installed, including the development files.
